By registering with pigeonLink you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and to be subject to any rules or guidelines on facilities provided by pigeonLink.

You can read the full terms describing your obligations, and ours, when using this web site, but because we are all busy people this is a synopsis of what we're talking about.

You are entitled to privacy, but sometimes we have to collect some information about you to make this site work and provide some protection for other subscribers. We don't give away or sell your personal information to other people and the web site does use cookies. You can request copies of your personal data. We have a license to use the software "engine" Result-Assist and therefore we can let you use this software for your personal use. Sometimes we link to other sites, but we can't be held responsible for what you might find there that's outside our control.

By registering and using this web site, or just visiting and using the web site, you have some obligations.

With regard to who owns what, you always own whatever you put up here, but you are also responsible for it and we're not responsible for your views as a consenting adult.

PIGEONLINK DESCRIPTION

pigeonLink is an online pigeon club facility for the capture, formatting and presentation of pigeon club, ring and race information for registered pigeon fanciers, their clubs and federations. pigeonLink make the formatted information available to registered clubs and federations for presentation to their members and for the creation of club statistics and league tables.

pigeonLink do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of the web site content as we are relying exclusively on the data supplied by club and federation secretaries. pigeonLink do not independently verify the accuracy of any data input by club or federation secretaries or members.

By using the facilities of pigeonLink you understand that you will not rely on any content to make, or refrain from making, any decision in relation to your federation or club member, ring or race management

Individual Members (Registered Fliers) can register with the web site at no cost. There is no renewal process for individual members. As a Registered Flier you will have indicated that you have read and agree to the pigeonLink terms and conditions and that you agree to abide by them each time you access the web site, provide content or otherwise interact with pigeonLink. Fliers can avail of the following facilities 

• Storing, publishing, viewing and editing Personal Loft Records
• Storing, publishing, viewing and editing Personal Bird Records
• Storing, publishing, viewing and editing Personal Ring Records
•  Storing, publishing, viewing and editing Personal Race Records

Registered Fliers may temporarily attach themselves to a Club or Federation for the purposes of viewing the public records of those clubs or federations. Permanent club or federation membership within pigeonLink must be approved by the secretary of the relevant club or federation before full access to club or federation records is granted.

GROUP REGISTRATION

Clubs, Federations, Combines, Unions or other groupings of individuals or clubs from within the pigeon fancier community must register an account before using the pigeonLink.com system as a group. The Registration Period for groups is for one year, and pigeonLink will issue a Renewal Notice to each Registered Group in December of each year.

The registration fee is based on each club or federation membership and the current cost per member is published at www.pigeonlink.com. This registration covers the cost of the software used to maintain the site, the cost of providing access via the internet and the sponsorship of the various prizes during the racing year for registered clubs, federations or other groups of fanciers. 

Groups may renew membership for the following year by submitting the information requested along with the fee set out in the Renewal Notice, payable as described in the Renewal Notice. Registration closes in the last week of March each year, and Registered Groups are entitled to cancel their subscription before April, the beginning of the typical racing season in Europe.

Refunds are issued, minus an administration cost of €10, when you notify us of your cancellation in writing.

Registered Clubs, Federations, Combines, Unions or other groupings may avail of the following

•   Storing, publishing, viewing and editing of Club, Federation or other group Bird Records
•   Storing, publishing, viewing and editing of Club, Federation or other group Ring Records
•   Storing, publishing, viewing and editing of Club, Federation or other group Race Records
•   Storing, publishing, viewing and editing of Club, Federation or other group Member Records
•   Participation in pigeonLink events during the racing year
•   Storing, publishing, distribution by email, viewing and editing of Club, Federation or other group Documents, Photographs, Liberation Video, Notifications, Rules and Regulations, Meeting Minutes and Agendas

It is the responsibility of the registered member, club or federation to ensure that their individual contact details are maintained.

Registered Fliers, Clubs or Federations are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access www.pigeonlink.com. Registered Fliers, Clubs or Federations are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access www.pigeonlink.com through an internet connection are aware of this Agreement, and that they are in compliance with it.

You agree that with or without cause, your registration may be terminated or suspended without prior notice at the sole discretion of pigeonLink. You waive all rights and claims to challenge or question any such decisions.

Collection of personal information such as your name or address will not be enforced when you visit the site. Without the express permission of pigeonLink, you may not, or permit others to :

• transfer the Service to another person or entity
• decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the System
• modify or create derivative works based on this System
• use the System for any commercial purpose, public display, sale or rental
